Whats better?

Desktops are handy for staying in spot, easier to upgrade and  tend to be cheaper. Hardware faults tend to be easier to fix with desktops, as the components are not fused to the motherboard and are more accessible. However you do need to buy a couple of extras Keyboards, Mice, Monitor and maybe a stand or desk to put it all on.

Laptops on the other hand tend to be useful for doing things on the go. They tend to be more expensive depending on what the capabilities are. This also goes for desktop’s but laptops still tend to be more expensive due to the miniaturization of components. Hardware faults tend to be  harder to fix as most laptop components, are sealed in and fused to the motherboard making it hard to access and replace it. Many manufacturers will offer a repair service which is expensive and time consuming.
